Jobbeschreibung

Location: Munich

Sector: Corporate Finance – M&A Advisory

Seniority: Manager (5–7 years’ experience)

We are supporting a leading European strategy and transaction advisory firm in hiring a Manager to join its Corporate Finance team. The group advises corporates, private equity investors, and founders on mid‑market M&A transactions across multiple sectors, combining strategic insight with strong execution capabilities.

The Manager will take a leading role in the full deal cycle, from origination support and financial analysis through to due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing. The role also includes responsibility for guiding junior colleagues and building trusted client relationships, offering significant visibility both internally and externally.

This is an opportunity to join a respected and expanding platform operating at the intersection of strategy and deals, with a robust pipeline of cross‑border transactions and strategic advisory mandates. The ideal candidate brings proven M&A execution experience, strong leadership qualities, and the ambition to grow within a dynamic, client‑facing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Execution: Lead M&A deals across sell‑side, buy‑side, and carve‑out mandates; oversee financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a day‑to‑day contact for clients including corporates, family offices, and private equity funds; develop trusted relationships and deliver high‑impact advice.
  • Project Management: Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., lawyers, tax advisors, technical consultants) throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Valuation & Modelling: Build and review financial models including DCF, LBO, and precedent transaction analyses; assess strategic fit and deal rationale.
  • Presentation Materials: Draft and refine information memoranda, management presentations, investor decks, and board materials.
  • Team Development: Support training and development of analysts and associates; contribute to internal knowledge building and best practices.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, or transaction services, ideally with exposure to mid‑market or cross‑border deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage M&A processes independently or with limited supervision.
  • Strong technical skills across valuation, modelling, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and client presence; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong project ownership and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in German and English.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role within a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial team, combining the strategic thinking of consulting with hands‑on M&A execution.
