Christian Dior Couture Munich is looking for a passionate Merchandising Trainee to support the Central and Eastern Europe region. This full-time 40-hour-per-week role spans a 1-year program starting asap and collaborates closely with the Merchandising team across markets.

The role requires university studies in merchandising or related field, plus analytical exposure. Fluency in German and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• University studies in Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
• First relevant experience in an analytical position (retail merchandising or business analyst preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for all product categories.
• Monitor and analyze daily business sales performance.
• Support store stock requests and rebalance stock based on store performance.
• Support product transfers within DE/AT/CH/PL/CZ and across Europe.
• Provide feedback on collections and boutique performance at market level.
• Support retail operations to increase sales turnover.
• Collaborate with VM, Training, and Marketing to implement action plans.

For our Merchandising department in our Head Office in Munich we are looking for a passionate and driven Merchandising Trainee supporting full time (40 hours per week) for a duration of 1-year starting asap. In this position you work closely with our Merchandising team by supporting them in all actions within the Central and Eastern Europe Region.

Missions

• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for all product categories


• Monitor and analyze daily business sales performance


• Support store stock requests and rebalance stock based on store performance


• Support and follow up on product transfers within the market (DE, AT, CH, PL, CZ) and across Europe


• Provide relevant feedback on collections and boutique performance at market level


• Support retail operations to increase sales turnover


• Implement action plans in collaboration with other departments (e.g., VM, Training, Marketing)


• Prepare support materials for buying sessions (sales reports, forecasting tools, and presentations for Store Managers)

• University studies with a focus on Merchandising, business administration, or another relevant field


• First significant experience in an analytical position (ideally in Retail Merchandising or Business analyst)


• Strong passion for the fashion and luxury industry


• Rigorous approach with quantitative data
