A leading pharmaceutical company in Germany is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to expand its Medical Affairs capabilities. This role involves building trusted relationships with key professionals, providing strategic insights, and supporting clinical trial activities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in Dermatology, and an advanced degree in life sciences or medicine. This position offers the chance to contribute to an exciting product launch, with a flexible start date and a contract lasting up to 12 months.

Project Overview

We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical company that is expanding its Medical Affairs capabilities in Germany. This MSL role offers the opportunity to contribute to an exciting product launch in the Dermatology space.

• Location: Germany
• Contract Type: 12 Month Contract, Opportunity for extension
• Start Date: April (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other healthcare professionals, serving as a reliable source of unbiased, up-to-date scientific and medical information.
• Gather and relay strategic insights from scientific exchanges to inform research direction and commercial strategy.
• Support clinical trial activities by engaging with investigator sites, participating in feasibility assessments, site initiation visits, and providing feedback to enhance site selection and patient recruitment.
• Represent external expert perspectives internally and identify opportunities for collaborative research or strategic partnerships.
• Apply strategic thinking and prioritization to maximize impact while ensuring compliance with all relevant medical affairs policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Medical Affairs or Dermatology/ Wound Care / Burn Care / Aesthetic Medicine settings.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
