Job summary

Agile Robots SE, based in Munich, is seeking a hands-on engineer to design and implement software for test benches in complex mechatronic systems. You will coordinate bench design, construction, and commissioning for components and industrial manipulators, and evaluate results as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in testing, verification and validation in mechatronics product development or test automation.
• Degree in mechatronics, electrical, or related field.

• Experience with C++/Python for data analysis and test bench automation.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical/automation system design, construction, or commissioning.
• Willingness to collaborate & take on diverse responsibilities.
• System-oriented thinking and structured working approach.
• Business-fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software solutions of test benches for complex mechatronic systems
• Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning of test benches for mechatronic components and industrial-grade manipulators
• Evaluate test results and provide feedback as part of a multidisciplinary development team

• Develop and document test and calibration procedures following state-of-the-art regulatory frameworks

Essential Skills

• Industry experience in testing, verification, and validation in mechatronics product development or test automation
• Degree or equivalent in mechatronics, electrical, or a related technical field
• Sound knowledge in the analysis of mechatronic systems
• Experience with C++ / Python for data analysis and test bench automation
• Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical / automation system design, construction, or commissioning
• Willingness to collaborate & take on diverse responsibilities
• System-oriented thinking and structured working approach
• Business-fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience with mechatronic systems, test bench automation, or data acquisition/analysis
• Experience with Unix (e.g. Bash) as well as field bus systems (e.g. EtherCAT) and embedded controllers
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards mechatronic systems and industrial automation
