Zusammenfassung

Quantum Systems sucht einen mechanischen/mechatronischen Techniker zur Montage, zum Aufbau und Test von Testständen und Werkzeugen für die Drohnenproduktion. Sie arbeiten eng mit Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieuren verschiedenster Fachrichtungen zusammen, um Probleme zu lösen und Prozesse kontinuierlich zu verbessern.

Sie bringen eine abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung in Mechatronik bzw. Maschinenbau mit, verfügen über praktische Montageerfahrung und lesen sicher technische Zeichnungen sowie

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung in Mechatronik, Maschinenbau oder verwandtem Bereich.
• Praxis in Montage oder Instandhaltung industrieller/mechatronischer Systeme.
• Sicheres Lesen technischer Zeichnungen und Schaltpläne.
• Gute Kenntnisse von Materialien, Werkzeugen, Klebstoffen und Standardkomponenten.
• Erfahrung mit 3D-Druckern von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit PCBs, einschließlich Kabelverkabelung, Crimpen und Löten.

Aufgaben

• Montage und Prüfung von Testständen und Prüfeinrichtungen nach technischen Zeichnungen.
• Elektronik integrieren inkl. Kabelbaumverkabelung, Schaltschrank und Hardwareverbindungen.
• Durchführen von Funktionsprüfungen und Dokumentation der Prüfvorgänge.
• Anpassungen an bestehenden Testständen vornehmen und neue Produkte integrieren.
• Unterstützung bei der Fehlersuche mechanischer und elektrischer Integrationsprobleme.
• Wartung des Werkstattbetriebs und der Werkzeuge, sichere Lab-Umgebung.
• Feedback an das Engineering-Team zu Designverbesserungen geben.

Jobbeschreibung

As a Mechanical / Mechatronics Technician, you’ll be a valuable member of the Production Engineering team, taking responsibility for the assembly, setup, and testing of test benches and tools used in our drone production.

Together with our outstanding team, you’ll play a key role in taking our production to the next level. You’ll work closely with engineers from various disciplines to solve problems and continuously improve our processes.

With your hands-on mindset and systematic thinking, you’ll support Quantum Systems in its mission to set the standard for airborne data collection with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Assemble and test test-benches and testing equipment based on technical drawings and work instructions.

• Integrate electronics, including cable harnessing, control cabinets, and hardware connections.

• Perform functional tests and document test procedures.

• Modify existing test benches and integrate adaptations for new products.

• Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical integration issues.

• Maintain the workshop and tools, contributing to a safe and efficient lab environment.

• Provide feedback to the engineering team regarding design improvements and manufacturability.

What you bring to the team:

• A completed technical education in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience in assembly or maintenance of industrial, robotic, or mechatronic systems.

• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams confidently — and to contribute actively when needed.

• Good knowledge of materials, tools, adhesives, and standard components.

• Experience with 3D printers is a plus.

• Experience handling PCBs, including cable harnessing, crimping, and soldering.

• A detail-oriented, responsible working style with a high standard of quality.

• A proactive, practical mindset and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.

• Good German communication skills.
