A NewSpace company based in Germering, Germany, is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support the development of deployable solar arrays. This role involves electrical and mechanical design, prototyping, and documentation. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong problem-solving skills. The position requires hands-on experience with harness design and PCB analysis, all in a collaborative and dynamic environment offering comprehensive benefits.
This is not a role where you wait to be told what to do — it’s for proactive thinkers, hands‑on builders, and engineers who take full ownership from day one. You’ll have the freedom to move fast, take initiative, and lead your own workstreams — but with that freedom comes real responsibility. We’re building space hardware, and every detail matters. That means pushing boundaries without cutting corners, being creative while staying rigorous, and delivering solutions that meet the highest standards of reliability and precision. If you’re driven by challenge, fueled by curiosity, and take pride in delivering work that’s not just bold but rock‑solid, you’ll thrive here. Every mission is different, every solution is tailored, and you’ll have a direct hand in making it happen — from the first sketch to the final bolt.
