Isar Aerospace SE in Munich is seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to own mechanism design for launch vehicle components. You will lead CAD development, sizing and qualification activities, interfacing with static structures and propulsion teams to deliver on time and to spec.
The role requires a Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years full-cycle design experience, plus proficiency in NX, Teamcenter, SolidWorks, Ansys and related tools.
You will need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, direct reports and leaders within and outside the organization. You will be part of a team responsible for developing stage separation mechanisms, fairing separation mechanisms, hydraulic , pneumatic and electro-mechanical actuators and umbilical fluid and electrical systems. Y ou have mechanical and integrated design experience as well as proven track record of delivering results on time and quality, while completing collaborative projects effectively. Your design, analysis and manufacturing skills enable you to own the outcomes of key mechanism design trades anddevelopment ofour Spectrum Launch Vehicle.
