Job summary

Motorsport Network, LLC in Germany is seeking an experienced technician to join our production team. You will independently assemble and commission motorsport sequential racing gearboxes and help manufacture fixtures and tools to streamline assembly.

You will test, adjust, and commission gearboxes and subsystems, perform assembly-related measurements, troubleshoot with component owners, and document each step. The role calls for a proactive mindset and strong teamwork in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of mechanical systems.
• Solid vocational training or technical qualification with professional motorsport experience.
• Willingness to learn the second language.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and commission motorsport gearboxes independently.
• Manufacture fixtures and tools to streamline assembly in cooperation with design.
• Test, adjust and commission gearboxes and subsystems.
• Take assembly-related measurements and adjust accordingly.
• Troubleshoot components with component owners.
• Document each work step.
• Drive continuous improvement of production processes.
• Identify assembly issues with the component owner and QA.

• Independent, self-responsible assembly and commissioning of motorsport sequential racing gearboxes
• Manufacturing of fixtures and tools to simplify assembly work in cooperation with the design department
• Testing, adjustment, and commissioning of gearboxes and their subsystems
• Carrying out assembly-accompanying measurements and adjustment activities
• Troubleshooting components and the overall system in close cooperation with component owners
• Documentation of individual work steps
• Continuous improvement of work processes in the production of gearbox components
• Identification of issues in the assembly process in close coordination with the component owner and quality assurance
