We are seeking a skilled mechanical or optical engineer to support the development and automation of our quantum sensing measurement systems. In this role, you will design and optimize high‑stability components and motion assemblies that enable sub‑micron positioning and reproducible measurements. You will work on high‑precision optics in both laser optics and the microscopy field. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team, our engineering partners, and vendors to bring the first commercial generation of our precision instruments to market.
Founded in 2022 as a spin‑off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three‑dimensional current maps within multi‑layer chips. Our 30‑strong team of physicists, engineers, and data scientists works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, helping them in chip debugging and accelerating their yield analysis.
