Job summary

HyImpulse Technologies GmbH in Neuenstadt am Kocher is seeking a structural engineer to define technical designs, conduct feasibility studies, and size launch-vehicle components. You will lead design reviews, develop 3D CAD models, and prepare manufacturing drawings and specifications.

The role requires strong CAD skills, experience with structural analysis, and English proficiency, with hands-on testing and cross-functional collaboration as part of a fast-growing New Space startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
• Experience in structural design and sizing of mechanical or aerospace systems
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g. NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo)
• Knowledge of structural analysis and engineering fundamentals
• Experience with hardware integration and technical interface management
• Familiarity with verification, validation, and testing activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional proficiency in English

Responsibilities
