Alignerr is seeking a Mathematics Expert for AI training to craft, solve, and evaluate advanced mathematical problems and to help refine AI models. The role is fully remote, flexible, and operated as an hourly contract with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, with deep expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics, and are proficient in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica.

Who You Are

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
• Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied work
• Exceptionally precise — you catch errors others miss and hold yourself to a high standard
• Clear and articulate written communicator who can explain complex ideas with precision
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in academic research, technical writing, or curriculum development
• Familiarity with AI tools or language model outputs as an end user
• Experience reviewing or grading advanced mathematical work
