About the Project

Multiparametric High-Content Imaging Screen for Therapeutic Modulators of Autophagy and Lipid Homeostasis in BPAN.

Masters or Doctoral Thesis Opportunity (Master’s/Medical Doctoral Thesis).

Position dates until 19.06.2026.

Collaborative research environment between TUM and Helmholtz Zentrum München.

What You Will Do
  • Culture patient-derived and iPSC-derived cellular models.
  • Perform compound testing and phenotypic screening.
  • Assess autophagy, lysosomal function, and lipid metabolism.
  • Learn advanced fluorescence microscopy and image analysis.
  • Contribute to the identification of potential therapeutic candidates.
