Finoa GmbH is seeking a Marketing Intern to support their marketing team in Germany. This is an unpaid internship opportunity, available as either a mandatory or voluntary internship.

Your mission:

As a Marketing Intern (m/f/d) at Finoa, you will support our marketing team in growing inbound demand.

You will help execute SEO initiatives, improve Finoa’s discoverability across search engines and LLM-based discovery tools, support the content calendar, contribute to content strategy, and assist with design and campaign assets.

A key part of this role will be using AI and automation tools to increase the output of the marketing function. You will help build lightweight workflows, content systems, and n8n automations that make research, content production, SEO execution, reporting, and campaign operations faster and more scalable.

In this role, you will:

• Support SEO strategy and execution: Help identify relevant keywords, optimize website content, improve existing pages, support technical SEO tasks, and track organic performance.
• Improve AI and search visibility: Research how Finoa appears across AI search, answer engines, comparison queries, and LLM‑generated recommendations, then help execute improvements.
• Manage and support the content calendar: Help plan, organize, and track upcoming content across blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, social posts, customer stories, and campaign materials.
• Contribute to content strategy: Research market trends, customer pain points, competitor messaging, and search demand to help shape relevant content ideas.
• Create and support marketing assets: Assist with simple design work for social media, presentations, reports, website visuals, event materials, and campaign assets.
• Use AI to accelerate content production and strategy: Help build repeatable workflows for content research, briefs, outlines, repurposing, and SEO optimization, and contribute ideas on what content to build based on search demand, competitor messaging, and customer pain points.
• Turn performance data into insights: Help track what content and channels are driving traffic, engagement, conversions, and qualified inbound leads.

What you need to be successful:

• You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn about fintech, crypto, institutional finance, and growth marketing.
• You enjoy writing, research, and turning complex topics into clear, useful content.
• You have an interest in SEO, content marketing, AI search, LLM discoverability, or digital growth.
• You are organized and can help manage a content calendar across multiple channels.
• You have an eye for design and are comfortable creating clean, simple marketing assets.
• You are excited by AI‑native ways of working and are eager to experiment with the latest tools, workflows, prompts, and automation techniques to increase output and improve quality.
• You are fluent in English. German is a plus.
• Prior experience in marketing, content, SEO, design, fintech, crypto, AI tools, or workflow automation is a plus, but not required.
• A portfolio, writing sample, design sample, or previous marketing project is a nice to have.
