Marketing Intern – Responsibilities

• This is a 6‑month, part‑time internship (20 hours per week) with opportunities to start in July, 2026.
• Assist with various projects within the Marketing department.
• Perform administrative, clerical, and project work as determined by business needs.
• Support marketing for multiple K12‑powered schools, including website support, social media strategy, and graphic design.
• Experience with interviewing, writing blog posts with SEO best practices, and publishing content on WordPress websites would be a plus.
• Ensure prospective parents understand what K12‑powered schools offer, supporting enrollment goals.
• Collaborate with school staff to highlight student stories.
• Suggest best practices for collecting user‑generated content.
• Provide trending ideas and actively contribute to content planning meetings.
• Assist with day‑to‑day administrative and operational duties.
• Assist with developing marketing materials as assigned by the team.

Requirements

• Currently working toward an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to leverage technology effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team‑oriented environment.
