Jobbeschreibung

We are looking to recruit a manufacturing and Planning Engineer to support with the relaunch of an engine manufacturing plan in Kiel. Project is due to start in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Design process and support end to end process installation
• Modify and complete Standard work and associated support documentation
• Support completion of safety FMEAs
• Determine requirements, prepare RFQ’s and issue for quotaition to procure / install / commission machinery and equipment
• Set up all process requirements working with logistics team to identify process build and POU
• Ensure process control plans in place for all critical features
• Line balancing and workforce planning
• Support initial builds and assist with troubleshooting and resolution
• Work with engineering teams and process partners to resolve issues
• Support with facilities implementation and associated requirements
• Test capabilities must have a level of knowledge to troubleshoot test bed and engine performance problems.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive knowledge of working in a large-scale complex manufacturing plant
• Process Design & Installation: Hands‑on experience in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, including equipment installation and commissioning.
• Standard Work & Documentation: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, creating and maintaining work instructions, and process documentation.
• Process Control: Knowledge of control plans for critical features, statistical process control (SPC), and quality assurance methods.
• German language (fluent)
