  • Develop, optimize, and qualify LPBF processes for a range of high-performance alloys.
  • Define and manage material characterization campaigns, support test execution, and analyze the resulting data.
  • Take over build preparation, LPBF process simulation, and process monitoring data analysis.
  • Execute qualification and certification activities for AM hardware in accordance with aerospace requirements and internal quality processes.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and drive continuous improvement in process capability, quality, productivity, and inspection methodologies.
  • Author technical documentation and collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, laboratories, and certification bodies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with metal LPBF systems in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in LPBF process development, material and part verification.
  • Knowledge in material characterization methodologies, including the selection and interpretation of material property and mechanical testing data.
  • Proficiency in CAD for part design modification, LPBF build design, and support generation. Experience with Siemens NX and PLM tools such as Teamcenter is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in LPBF process and hardware qualification for complex aerospace propulsion systems.
  • Strong understanding of DFAM principles, LPBF process physics and parameters.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials such as nickel-based superalloys, titanium alloys, copper alloys, as well as stainless steels. Refractory alloys is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in machine operation, material characterization, including metallography, microstructural characterization, and mechanical testing.
  • Proficiency in additive manufacturing process simulation solutions.
