The Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer / Full-Stack Developer, you are the technical lead responsible for building and delivering customized AI solutions together with our clients. Your expertise will be at the core of turning complex requirements and raw data into production-grade, user-facing products that drive real business impact.

You will be a key contributor throughout the entire product lifecycle—from design and prototyping to deployment and optimization. You’ll collaborate closely with top data scientists, machine learning engineers, and data engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end AI products. As part of a high-performance, dynamic team, you’ll help shape our technical foundation, define best practices, and contribute directly to our fast-growing startup culture.

You will also work with the leadership team to help scale up NewNow, contributing to technical hiring, architectural decisions, and company strategy.

The role includes the following tasks:

• Design, build, and deploy web applications – owning both backend and frontend components
• Develop robust APIs and integrate data pipelines and machine learning models into products.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure smooth handoff and performance in production
• Own engineering decisions: architecture, tooling, code quality, and testing.
• Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing to support long-term development and onboarding.
• Occasionally travel to team retreats or client workshops (primarily Frankfurt/Berlin or remote, CET ±2h)

What You'll Bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fields (Bachelors degree as minimum requirement)
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack/software engineer in high-impact environments (startups, product companies, or top tech consultancies).
• Experience deploying applications to on-premise or customer-managed environments, as well as cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or others.
• Strong understanding of integrating data science and machine learning models into production-grade systems.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Attention to detail and a track record of maintaining clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
