Job summary

persona service AG & Co. KG is seeking a plant operator to operate, monitor and control our mixing plant in Niedersachsen, Germany.

You will dose, mix and fill products according to recipes and batch requirements, set up the plant before production, and perform product changeovers. You will conduct quality checks, document steps for batch traceability, and support maintenance and cleaning with the technical team.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in machinery and plant operation or related fields.
• Experience with mixing/processing plants, preferably in animal feed/fertiliser/food industries.
• Forklift licence is a plus or familiarity with GMP+ quality standards.
• Good understanding of technical matters and plant control systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• You will operate, monitor and control our mixing plant whilst it is in operation.
• You will dose, mix and fill the products in accordance with the specified recipes and batch requirements.
• Before production begins, you set up the plant and carry out product changeovers.
• You carry out quality checks and take samples independently.
• You document all work steps comprehensively, thereby ensuring batch traceability.
• In the event of malfunctions, you analyse the cause and rectify it, in consultation with the technical team where necessary.
• You are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the plant in consultation with the technical department.
• You comply with the applicable hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• You assist your colleagues with material preparation and loading.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinery and plant operator (m/f/d), process mechanic (m/f/d) or food technology specialist (m/f/d).
• You have gained experience working with mixing or processing plant, ideally in the animal feed, fertiliser or food industry.
• Ideally, you hold a forklift licence or have knowledge of quality standards such as GMP+.
• You have a good understanding of technical matters and are confident in operating plant control systems.
• Your profile includes spoken German and a valid work permit.
• You are willing to work shifts.
• You are characterised by a precise, responsible and team-oriented approach to your work.
