Job summary

Quantum Partners in Munich, Germany seeks an M&A Associate (m/w/d) to join a boutique with a focus on technology and growth company advisory. You will independently manage M&A project modules, conduct research, and help develop tools and networks.

Fluency in German and strong English are essential, as is a Master’s degree with a business or technical focus. The role offers direct interaction with partners and clients, a collaborative atmosphere, and opportunities to grow into partner-level

M&A Associate (m/w/d)

• Independent responsibility for M&A project modules (e.g. company valuation, information memorandum, financial model/business planning, longlist & approach, due diligence coordination)
• Preparation of research on companies, industries and markets as well as cooperation in project acquisition and marketing
• Independent initiatives to further develop our tools, skills and networks

Your experience and skills

• At least two years of demonstrable experience in the handling of M&A projects, e.g. in an M&A boutique, investment bank or the M&A department of an industrial company
• German language skills at native speaker level and very good English skills
• Above-average degree (ideally a Master’s degree) with a business or technical focus
• Interest in business and technologically demanding topics and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new issues, business models and technologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with relevant M&A databases and AI tools
• Independent, reliable and committed way of working as well as a friendly and open manner
