Overview

Location Data Specialist at TSMG Holding. TSMG is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible, counting features, taking pictures, making videos, recording speech, and scanning areas for every detail to help make informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America.

Project objective

The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest, and public areas. The project uses cars with 360 cameras mounted on top; images are stored on computers inside the vehicle and later used to enhance one of the world’s most popular online maps. Data collectors will follow specific routes around public streets and areas, targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Some areas may be visited multiple times due to weather, to ensure the best quality imaging. The project is expected to last at least 8 months and will cover different city/state zones. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area, traffic trends, is highly responsible and reliable. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (40 hours/week); overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Drive to collect data using 360-degree cameras mounted on the vehicle to image the surrounding area.
• Follow assigned routes in public streets and commercial districts; ensure data quality and completeness.
• Coordinate with project team to confirm imaging requirements and locations.
• Maintain safety and reliability; adhere to local traffic laws and project schedules.
• Report issues or delays and verify data integrity before storage in-vehicle.

Qualifications
