Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Localization Operations Manager (x/f/m) on a fixed-term 9-month assignment in Berlin or Paris. You will audit and redesign end-to-end localization workflows, from content creation to linguistics QA, and shape AI-assisted translation tooling and governance across multiple markets.

This role partners with engineering, design, product, medical and GTM teams to deliver durable improvements.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or Localization Operations Manager with hands-on experience designing localization/internationalization tooling and MT/AI-assisted translation workflows.
• Strong proficiency in AI-native workflows as they relate to software development and content management.
• Experience with multi-market, multi-language products at scale.
• Track record of shipping quality, speed, or cost improvements in localization/translation operations.
• Strong stakeholder management across design, engineering, and content teams.
• Fluent English; Italian/French/German localization experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit the end-to-end localization workflow across markets, defining improvements for updated processes.
• Evaluate and evolve machine translation and AI-assisted translation tooling, including glossary ownership and governance, content classification, and where human review fits in.
• Define a vendor and tooling strategy for translation across language markets and update the tooling stack as needed.
• Design and roll-out evolved processes in partnership with engineering, design, product, medical, and local go-to-market teams.
• Handover a durable process and toolset by the end of the engagement.
