Our team consists of ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologists, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate, International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, and Medical Interpreters. We operate multiple physical locations across Germany including Ramstein/Kindsbach, Grafenwoehr, and Hochheim, serving communities from Kaiserslautern to Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, and beyond.

As a preferred provider of Tricare Overseas and direct biller for several U.S.-based insurance companies, we provide accessible, evidence-based care through multiple modalities: in clinic, in home, virtual, and school based services. Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a bilingual German/English Speech Therapist (Logopäde/Logopädin) to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. This unique position serves both German-speaking local populations and English-speaking American military families and expatriate communities.

The Speech Therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders, and providing evidence-based individual and group therapy across the lifespan. Daily responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy for articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, voice disorders, dysphagia, and other communication challenges.

The role requires delivering services in both German and English, depending on client needs. You will work across multiple settings including in-clinic, in-home, virtual/telehealth, and school-based environments. Close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team including American Speech-Language Pathologists, Behavioral Health Coach, and other specialists is essential to provide integrated, holistic care.

This position offers flexibility in service delivery and the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children with developmental disabilities, adults recovering from neurological events, and individuals requiring specialized feeding therapy or myofunctional therapy.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training (Ausbildung) or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Speech Therapy (Logopädie), Academic Speech Therapy, or Clinical Linguistics from a recognized German institution
• Native or fluent German language proficiency (C2 level)
• Fluent English language proficiency (minimum B2 level, C1 preferred) for working with English-speaking clients
• Experience conducting speech and language assessments and therapy
• Strong knowledge of German healthcare system and documentation requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
• Eligibility to work in Germany

Preferred

• Experience working with bilingual or multilingual populations
• Experience with pediatric populations (articulation disorders, language delays, autism spectrum disorders)
• Training in specialized areas such as feeding therapy, myofunctional therapy, or dysphagia
• Experience working with American or international families
• Knowledge of U.S. insurance systems, particularly Tricare
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus
• Experience in multiple service delivery settings (clinic, home-based, telehealth, school-based)
