This qualification is suitable for anyone who teaches in the adult education and skills sector. This covers those who teach the 14+ age range, in the post 16 sector, within community learning or for private organisations. It is designed to develop an understanding of the theory of teaching, along with developing skills in the practical elements of teaching. Individuals who are not currently teaching can also achieve this qualification if they are capable of meeting the minimum teaching practice requirements of 30 hours.
