The role focuses on supporting real estate and corporate transactions, exposing you to acquisitions, investments and strategic projects in an international setting.

Ideal for a lawyer with 2–4 years PQE who wants closer business exposure, ownership of transactions, and broader commercial experience in-house within a lean, high-regard legal team.

Qualifikationen

Deep Blue Recruitment is working with a leading European business to appoint a Real Estate Transactions Counsel into its Berlin legal team.

This role sits close to the commercial heart of the business and will focus on supporting a steady flow of real estate and corporate transactions, giving you direct exposure to acquisitions, investments and broader strategic projects in an international setting.

It’s an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with around 2-4 years’ PQE who wants to move closer to the business, take greater ownership of transactions and build broader commercial experience in-house.

You’ll join a lean legal team that is highly regarded internally and works closely with senior management, investment teams and external advisers across multiple European jurisdictions.

Tasks

• Supporting real estate acquisitions, and investment transactions
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation
• Advising on corporate and property-related legal matters connected to deals
• Supporting due diligence processes and coordinating external counsel
• Working closely with investment, finance and commercial teams throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Advising on cross-border transactions across European jurisdictions
• Contributing to legal processes, templates and internal know-how as the business continues to grow

Requirements

• German qualification as a Volljurist/in, having completed both State Examinations
• Experience with real estate transactions and construction law
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience working on due diligence and transaction documentation
• An interest in gaining broader commercial and international exposure
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external advisers
• The ability to take ownership of matters and work autonomously within a lean team

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you’ll also work closely with the C-team and investment stakeholders, while gaining exposure to cross-border transactions across Europe.
