Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a hands‑on Legal Counsel, In‑House based in Germany to support an international organization operating across multiple jurisdictions.

You will advise on employment law matters, collaborate with Operations and Sales, and help navigate local and cross‑border regulatory requirements in a remote‑first environment. You will also work with external counsel, payroll providers, and local partners to ensure compliant growth and risk containment.

Qualifikationen

• Spanish Bar admission required and specialization in employment law.
• 2–4 years of post‑qualification experience in law firms or in‑house.
• Fluent Spanish and business English; strong analytical skills.
• Experience with GDPR and cross-border contracts is a plus.

This is an opportunity for a hands‑on legal professional to support a fast‑moving, international organization operating across multiple jurisdictions.
You will advise on employment law matters while helping internal teams navigate complex legal and regulatory requirements.
The role combines legal expertise with strong business partnership, requiring a practical and solution‑oriented approach.
You will work closely with teams including Operations and Sales, contributing to growth initiatives and new business opportunities.
The position also involves collaboration with external counsel, payroll providers, and local partners across different countries.

Accountabilities

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted to the Spanish Bar, with a strong specialization in Spanish employment law.
• Approximately 2–4 years of post‑qualification legal experience gained in a law firm, an in‑house legal department, or ideally a combination of both.
• Native‑level Spanish and fluent business and legal English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex legal matters into practical business solutions.
• Commercial mindset and ability to balance legal requirements with operational and customer‑focused considerations.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of employment law in additional jurisdictions, such as Portugal, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data protection and GDPR requirements is a plus.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial or sales contracts is desirable.
• Additional language skills, such as Portuguese, French, Italian, or German, are beneficial.
