Hunter Philips Executive Search is partnering with a leading international renewable energy developer to appoint a Legal Counsel to support its German business. You will work with the Development team to provide legal support across wind, solar PV, BESS and hybrid energy projects throughout the full lifecycle.

Required: Fully qualified German Lawyer (2nd State Examination), 5+ years of experience, knowledge of project development and corporate law, fluent German and English, and strong

Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified German Lawyer (2nd State Examination).
• 5+ years' legal experience.
• Knowledge of project development, permitting and corporate law.
• Fluent German and English.
• Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure or a leading commercial law firm.
• Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including land agreements, EPC, service and cooperation agreements.
• Advise project teams on permitting, planning and renewable energy legislation.
• Support project acquisitions, disposals and legal due diligence.
• Assist with project finance transactions and corporate matters.
• Draft joint venture agreements, shareholder resolutions and corporate documentation.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders throughout project development.

Working alongside the Development team, you will provide legal support across utility-scale wind, solar PV, BESS and hybrid energy projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

The Role:

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including land agreements, EPC, service and cooperation agreements.
• Advise project teams on permitting, planning and renewable energy legislation.
• Support project acquisitions, disposals and legal due diligence.
