Zusammenfassung

MAM Gruppe seeks an Energy Legal Counsel to join our client in the wind energy sector, advising on legal matters across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects—from development through repowering—covering contracts, planning and environmental law.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified German lawyer with Zweites Staatsexamen and in-house experience in contract and commercial law; knowledge of renewables, permitting or environmental law is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified German lawyer with Zweites Staatsexamen.
• Experience as in-house counsel with contract and commercial law.
• Exposure to renewable energy, planning, permitting or environmental law is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Advise on legal matters across the full project lifecycle from development to repowering.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts including purchase, usage and loan agreements.
• Support M&A transactions in renewables and due diligence.
• Provide corporate law guidance on articles of association and shareholder agreements.

Our client is seeking an Energy Legal Counsel to join a business in the wind energy sector, advising on legal matters across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects - from development through to repowering - including contract law, planning and environmental law, and M&A.

The role:

• Advise independently on all legal matters across the full project lifecycle: development, realisation, operation and repowering.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including purchase, usage and loan agreements.
• Support M&A transactions in renewables, including company acquisitions, project acquisitions, due diligence and transaction documentation.
• Advise on corporate law matters, including articles of association, shareholder agreements and capital measures.

What you'll need:

• Fully qualified German lawyer having completed both state exams. (Zweites Staatsexamen).
• Professional experience as an in-house lawyer or attorney, with solid grounding in contract and commercial law.
• Prior exposure to renewable energy law, as well as planning, permitting or environmental law, is an advantage.
