As a Legal, Commercial and Finance Lead, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Orbint’s contractual, commercial, financial, and documentation backbone. You will support customer, supplier, research, and partner relationships by preparing, reviewing, coordinating, and tracking contracts, NDAs, purchase orders, subcontractor agreements, invoices, budgets, funding documents, and commercial project records.

Your role is central to turning complex legal, commercial, and financial information into a structured, traceable, and decision-ready operating system for Orbint’s space and defence activities.

Core Legal, Commercial & Finance Profile

• Background in Business Law, Law, Business Administration, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable field.
• Experience in contract administration, legal operations, procurement, accounting, controlling, audit preparation, grant documentation, or commercial project management.
• Strong understanding of contracts, obligations, deadlines, payment terms, budgets, invoices, cost documentation, and commercial risks.
• Maintain finance trackers for budgets, actual costs, forecasts, liquidity planning, commitments, open invoices, and upcoming payment obligations.
• Support management, accounting, tax advisors, and external partners with structured documentation and financial follow-up.
• Confident with Word, Excel, structured file systems, financial trackers, and ideally accounting, contract, or project management tools.
• Ability to identify and elevate legal, commercial, tax, IP, confidentiality, liability, procurement, compliance, and financial risks.

Space / Defence / Technology Domain

Prior experience or interest in space, aerospace, defence, security, research, engineering, or high-technology environments is a strong plus but not necessary.

General

• Structured, analytical working style with strong ownership and very high reliability.
• Ability to bring order into complex, incomplete, or fast-moving documentation.
• Strong communication skills: you can coordinate clearly with management, engineers, suppliers, customers, accountants, lawyers, and public project partners.
