Ersilia is seeking a Lead Structural Analysis Engineer in Munich for the European space sector. The role combines leading a skilled team with hands-on verification of spacecraft hardware and complex FE models.

You will drive analyses for launches, on-orbit operations, and qualification campaigns in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of structural analysis experience in the European space industry.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams or project work packages.
• Strong expertise in FEMAP, NASTRAN and finite element analysis.
• Experience analysing spacecraft or satellite hardware (launchers alone unlikely sufficient).
• Knowledge of ESA/ECSS standards.

Are you an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer with a background in the European space industry?

Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing space company, is looking for a Lead Structural Analysis Engineer to drive the structural verification of spacecraft hardware while leading a highly skilled engineering team.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Structural Analysis Engineers
• Develop and validate complex finite element models for space hardware
• Perform structural and thermal analyses using FEMAP/NASTRAN
• Support launch, in-orbit and qualification load case analyses
• Collaborate with systems, design, manufacturing and customers
• Ensure compliance with ESA/ECSS structural verification standards
• Improve simulation workflows using Python, MATLAB or FORTRAN
