Zusammenfassung

WorkGenius Group seeks a Software Lead to own the technical direction and delivery of consumer-facing applications and platforms. You will guide architecture across mobile/web apps, backend services, cloud infra, and data flows, aligning with UAV and operational systems.

You will lead engineers, balance hands-on execution in an early-stage environment, and set high standards for quality, reliability, and maintainability across the stack.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including system design/architecture and delivery of application platforms (backend services, cloud infrastructure, and user-facing systems).
• Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role (e.g., Software Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Lead)—guiding engineers, setting direction, and owning outcomes.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern backend and frontend technologies such as Python (FastAPI or similar), TypeScript (React, Angular, Svelte or similar), Java (Spring Boot or similar).
• Fluency in English; experience in Automotive, logistics, mobility, robotics, UAV or aerospace-adjacent domains.

You will lead the design and evolution of the end-to-end architecture spanning mobile/web apps, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data flows, while ensuring seamless integration with UAV and operational systems.
• You will guide a team of engineers, align multiple technical stakeholders, and remain hands‑on—driving pragmatic execution in an early‑stage environment and setting high standards for quality, reliability, and long‑term maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Python (FastAPI or similar), TypeScript (React, Angular, Svelte or similar), Java (Spring Boot or similar)
• Should be able to decide what Hardware to choose
• Fluency in English
• Experience in Automotive, logistics, mobility, robotics, UAV or aerospace‑adjacent domains.

Nice to have

• German language is a plus not mandatory.
• Familiarity with aviation standards such as DO-178C or ARP4754A (beneficial but not required).
• Embedded or real‑time experience is a plus
