Auterion in Munich is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of next-generation drone platforms. You will own mechanical systems from concept through prototyping to mass production, working with a cross-functional team across hardware, software, and systems.
You will lead on thermal, structural, and kinematic designs, mentor junior engineers, and ensure manufacturability and scalability in a fast-paced, hardware-focused environment.

You will take ownership of mechanical systems ranging from cooling solutions to complete airframes, guiding designs from initial concept through prototyping to mass production.
As part of a cross-functional team, you will develop advanced systems such as interceptor and reconnaissance drones with integrated visual navigation, as well as quadcopters for defense applications.
