TEKsystems is seeking a Lead IoT Engineer to architect and implement enterprise IoT and edge computing platforms. You will guide device-to-cloud design, ensure security, and drive automation and analytics across large-scale deployments.

This is a hybrid Chandler, AZ-based contract role with a focus on scalable, secure systems. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IoT/edge/cloud roles, strong Python skills, and experience with APIs, data pipelines, and distributed cloud architectures.

Job Description

The Lead IoT Engineer is responsible for the architecture, implementation, security, and operation of enterprise-scale Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing platforms. This role leads the design of connected systems across devices, networks, edge infrastructure, and cloud environments while driving automation, analytics, and operational excellence.

Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IoT, edge computing, cloud architecture, or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in IoT and edge architecture design.
• Strong programming and automation skills, particularly Python.
• Experience with APIs, system integration, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
