Zusammenfassung

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Frontend Developer to drive high-quality UIs across our product suite. You will lead a development team, design scalable frontend architectures, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver robust features using Angular 17+ and TypeScript.

Responsibilities include requirements refinement, code review, testing with Jasmine/Karma, and presenting work to clients. Excellent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of relevant frontend development experience.
• At least 1 year leading and managing development teams.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (Flexbox, variables, SASS/SCSS).
• Extensive Angular experience (17+).
• Experience with Angular Material UI components and Angular libraries.
• Proficient in RxJS and NgRx for state handling.
• Experience with HighCharts for data visualization and AG Grid for complex grids.
• Unit testing with Jasmine and Karma; Git for version control.
• Excellent English communication (B2+).
• Nice to have Azure DevOps and Node.js familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Gather and discuss requirements, advancing from initial ideas to detailed plans with clearly defined acceptance criteria


• Review code to detect potential issues and eliminate code smells or duplication


• Create flexible, scalable, and reusable components and features


• Improve solutions that are inefficient, slow, or consume excessive resources


• Guide fellow team members by recommending more effective, robust, scalable, or reusable approaches


• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality


• Present finished work to clients


• Deliver estimates for upcoming tasks and initiatives


• Split large requirements into smaller, more manageable parts


• Adapt swiftly when moving between different contexts and tasks

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience


• At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams


• Deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML fundamentals


• Comfortable working with CSS, including Flexbox and variables, plus SASS/SCSS features such as mixins and variables


• Extensive hands-on background with Angular 17 or newer versions


• Working knowledge of Angular Material for UI component development


• Exposure to a variety of Angular libraries and their practical applications


• Strong grasp of RxJS for handling reactive programming patterns


• Background applying NgRx to manage application state


• Practical experience integrating HighCharts to visualize data


• Experience configuring AG Grid to handle complex data grid requirements


• Proven ability to write unit tests for Angular applications using Jasmine and Karma


• Comfortable using Git for source control and collaborative development


• Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)


• Nice to have Experience with Azure DevOps


• Familiarity with Node.js
