Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to build and optimize self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipelines for hybrid deployments. You will create reusable templates for build, test, package, and release workflows.

The role emphasizes securing pipelines, managing containers with Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and collaborating with engineering, QA, security, and IT operations to reduce incidents and improve deployment confidence.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience (self-hosted preferred).
• Hands-on experience creating and managing Docker containers.
• Strong Kubernetes experience (AKS preferred, EKS/GKE welcome).
• Terraform and Ansible experience in production.
• Strong Linux, networking, and container fundamentals.
• Experience embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
• Harbor, Trivy, Vault (nice to have).
• HAProxy / Traefik, VMware exposure, ISO 27001 practices (nice to have).
• FinOps / cloud cost optimization experience (nice to have).

Aufgaben

• Build and optimize self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipelines for hybrid deployments.
• Create reusable CI/CD templates for build, test, package, and release workflows.
• Operate and improve container platforms, including migration to Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation with Ansible.
• Strengthen DevSecOps controls in pipelines, including SAST/DAST, dependency and license scanning, and secrets handling
• Manage container image lifecycle and security using Harbor/Trivy
• Improve observability, alerting, and reliability across infrastructure and applications using Elastic, Zabbix, and Prometheus/Grafana
• Partner with Engineering, QA, Security, and IT Ops to reduce incidents and improve deployment confidence
• Support cost-aware operations across Azure, AWS, and GCP with a FinOps mindset
