REWE International Dienstleistungsgesellschaft m.b.H is seeking a Lead Developer to own the design, development and continuous improvement of Java-based applications. You will drive Java/Spring Boot solutions, lead agile teams, mentor peers, and collaborate with Product Owners to translate requirements into robust technical designs.

Expect a strong focus on OO design, distributed systems, and modern software architectures.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and modern software architectures.
• Experience leading developers in agile teams.
• Hands-on Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Take technical ownership of design, development, and continuous improvement of Java-based applications and services.
• Drive the implementation of high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

• Support projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept to implementation


• Analyze existing systems andidentifyopportunities for optimization and improvement


• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or a comparable qualification


• Several years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing software systems


• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, modern software architectures, and software engineering best practices


• Experience in leading developers or acting as a technical lead within agile teams


• Hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin(Spring Boot),RESTful APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and distributed systems
