Commissioning Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) – Long-Term Contract in the Nordics

Are you an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Commissioning Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a cutting-edge industrial environment? We are hiring for a long-term contract role with competitive daily rates, rotation schedule, and all travel & accommodation covered by SilverBack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, standby generators, and other critical power systems.
• Ensure all electrical systems operate within design specifications and industry standards.
• Supervise commissioning teams and report test outcomes.
• Oversee commissioning of HVAC, Air Handling Systems, VRF Air Conditioning, and direct cooling systems.
• Audit contractor QA/QC procedures and ensure safety compliance (including LOTO & Permit-to-Work).
• Work closely with electrical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Time-served trades experience or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of commissioning experience (electrical and/or mechanical).
• Strong leadership & troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems, LOTO, and Permit-to-Work procedures.
• Prior data centre experience NOT required – we provide full training!
