Qualifications

• Ausbildung im Laborbereich oder Master-Studium in Chemie, Formulierung oder Materialwissenschaft.
• Interesse an Klebe-/Dichtstoffanwendung, Formulierung und Testverfahren.
• Eigeninitiative, Selbstständigkeit und Teamfähigkeit.

Responsabilités

• Formulierungen erstellen und Prototypen fertigen, die getestet werden.
• Prototypen testen, Ergebnisse interpretieren und Bezüge zu Eigenschaften herstellen.
• Anwendungenstests entwickeln und implementieren.
• Laborvorschriften, Analyseverfahren und Laborbetriebsprozesse einhalten.
• Teil des Laborteams sein und regelmäßige Labortätigkeiten unterstützen.

For our Latex Binders R&D Center of Excellence in Rheinmünster, Germany close to Strasbourg and Karlsruhe we are looking for a Lab Technician - Adhesive & Sealants.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Make formulations and prepare final prototypes to be tested.
• Test and characterize prototypes. Interpret results within project(s) related to the Adhesives & Sealants and build relationships between application performances and Trinseo polymer properties.
• Development and implementation of applications tests.
• Learning of the lab specific safety procedures, analytical methods and laboratory operating procedures.
• Be part of the lab team and participate to the weekly lab operations.

Qualifikationen

• Laboratory Technician or Master student in Chemistry, Formulation, Materials Science or related field.
• Strong interest in working within Adhesives & Sealants application laboratory. Passion and curiosity for formulation, testing and chemistry.
• Initiative and autonomy in carrying out the formulations and tests.
• Good communication and interpersonal team skills.
• Good working knowledge of English. German is not required.
