Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join Cliveden Manor Care Home in Buckinghamshire. You will support catering, help with meal preparation, and maintain a clean kitchen to ensure safe service for residents.

The role requires a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, knowledge of Health and Safety, and a proactive team player who respects residents’ dignity. DBS check will be required; eligibility to work in the UK is assumed.

Qualifikationen

• Holds Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrates high standards of personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.

• Support the catering function in food preparation and maintaining a clean environment for the safe production of beverages and meals.
• Understand the principles of safe food handling to ensure all kitchen tasks meet high hygiene standards.

• Advise on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.
