Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Kalkulator to support major turnkey construction projects in Germany. The role requires BIM-based estimating, iTWO, and Revit expertise.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Technician, and proven estimating experience with General Contractors. Fluent German is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Technician.
• Experience in estimating, pre-construction, or project delivery for a General Contractor.
• Knowledge of turnkey building projects.
• Experience with estimating software, ideally iTWO (RIB).
• Working knowledge of Revit and BIM methodologies.
• Fluent German language skills are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess tender and bid documentation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial calculations.
• Produce tender submissions for turnkey construction projects using 3D models.
• Develop value engineering proposals and alternative technical solutions.
• Create project schedules and support bid strategy development.
• Work closely with project teams throughout tender and delivery phases.
• Support the transition from pre-construction into project execution.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of BIM-driven estimating processes using iTWO and Revit.

I'm currently working with a leading construction client in Germany that is looking to engage an experienced Senior Estimator / Kalkulator to support the delivery of major turnkey construction projects.

This opportunity is particularly suited to professionals with experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, with strong knowledge of BIM-based estimating, iTWO, and Revit.
