Jobtailor in Munich is seeking a software engineer who loves turning ideas into shipped features. You will work on client projects and our own products using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, delivering high‑quality code in fast feedback loops.

You will work agent‑first, evaluating AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, then review and harden outputs. Fluent English is required, German is a bonus, and you will be expected to explain what you built and why.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid fundamentals in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with work- or study-based experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and a solid opinion on their use.
• Ability to verify agent output instead of blind trust.
• Clear communication; ability to explain what you built and why.
• Fluent English; German a bonus.
• Nice to have side projects or open-source contributions.
• Exposure to databases, APIs, or cloud deployment.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid fundamentals in TypeScript, React, and Node.js. You have built things with them, at work, in study, or on your own projects.
• Real hands‑on experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar). This is a must‑have, not a bonus. We want to see that you already build with these and have opinions about where they help and where they don't.
• The instinct to verify rather than trust. You check what the agent gives you instead of pasting it blind.
• Clear communication. You can explain what you built and why.
• Fluent English. German is a bonus.
• Nice to have: Side projects, open-source contributions, or anything you shipped that we can look at
