OneFootball in Berlin is seeking a Junior Social Media Manager (m/f/d) on a 1-year contract to help bring football stories to life across our global channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads and WhatsApp. You will support day-to-day posting, craft timely content, monitor trends, and contribute ideas to grow our worldwide football community while following editorial standards.

The role demands a passion for football, 1–2 years of social media experience, excellent English

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, preferably within sports media.
• Excellent English writing and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, reactive environment where football news moves quickly.
• Familiar with creating or editing visual content in Photoshop.

As a Junior Social Media Manager at OneFootball, you'll help bring the biggest stories, moments, and conversations in football to life across our social channels. From breaking news and matchdays to trends, culture, and fan debates, you'll create content that reaches millions of football fans worldwide on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, and WhatsApp. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes football, loves social media, and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, global football media environment where creativity, speed, and great storytelling make all the difference.

Your Role

• Support the day-to-day management of our social media channels, creating and publishing timely, platform-native content.

Your Profile

• Passionate about football and knowledgeable about the global football landscape
• You have 1–2 years of experience in social media, preferably within sports media, sports publishing, or a football-focused environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment where football news moves quickly
• An excellent writer with strong English communication skills and the ability to create engaging content tailored to different social platforms.
• Creative, proactive, and eager to learn and develop your social media expertise
• Someone who takes ownership of their work, pays attention to detail, and isn't afraid to share ideas
• Willing to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends around major football events
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and comfortable creating or editing templated visual content.
