Job Overview

In our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for you as an international Payment Team Associate.

Responsibilities
  • You actively support the Payment team in shaping the roadmap to achieve a best‑in‑class payment experience across all sales channels at group level.
  • International project management in the online and POS payment environment, with a focus on innovative features, efficient processes, and current market trends.
  • You act as an interface between the Payment team, IT, Sales, and Finance to successfully deliver projects while ensuring stability in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Taking over existing reporting and continuous optimisation.
  • You actively support the optimisation of the payment cost structure and participate in negotiations with payment service providers.
  • Contribution to the creation of business cases, decision papers, and C‑level presentations.
Qualifications
  • Initial experience in international payment environments, ideally within an omnichannel retailer or a FinTech setting.
  • Strong interest in current payment market developments and providers (e.g. A2A payments, mobile/soft POS, BNPL).
  • Completed degree in business, natural sciences or computer science, or a comparable qualification (a degree is not mandatory).
  • Independent, structured working style with a strong affinity for IT and process design.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
