Zusammenfassung

PUMA is seeking a Merchandising Planning professional in Germany to coordinate the Seasonal Planning process and drive KPI reporting across Global Go-To-Market and Business Units. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in planning, strong Excel and PowerBI skills, and a proven ability to turn data into actionable insights that support growth and better forecasting across product categories and regions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI.

Aufgaben

  • Coordinate and drive the Seasonal Planning process, manage KPI targets, reports, and Merchandising Planning with Global Go-To-Market.
  • Implement Merchandising Planning tracking with commentary and proactive follow-ups on deviations.
  • Conduct advanced data analyses to extract actionable insights for strategic decisions and growth.
  • Develop and refine the Global planning process by applying best practices across units and divisions.
  • Leverage data-driven decision making focusing on sell-through and market data.
  • Support accurate product forecasts from all entities; validate results with Markets; report to Senior Management.
  • Propose improvements to Product Forecasting to improve accuracy and alignment across functions.
  • Share business performance across product categories, regions, and markets to support critical decisions.

YOUR MISSION
  • Coordinate and drive the Seasonal Planning process, including managing KPI targets, creating comprehensive reports and overseeing detailed Merchandising Planning in collaboration with Global Go-To-Market Merchandising and Business Units
  • Implement comprehensive Merchandising Planning tracking, including commentary and proactive follow-ups with stakeholders on deviations from the plan
  • Conduct advanced data analyses to extract actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making and driving business growth
  • Drive the development and refinement of the Global planning process by implementing best practices across business units and product divisions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Leverage data-driven decision‑making by utilizing the most accurate and relevant information available, with a strong focus on customer sell‑through data and market data
  • Support the accurate submission of product forecasts from all entities, validate results with Markets, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate findings through detailed reports to Senior Management
  • Propose and implement improvements to the Product Forecasting process, focusing on enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with integrated planning approaches across functions
  • Stay up to date with business performance across all product categories, regions, and key markets to proactively share information with global partners and support critical business decisions.
YOUR TALENT
  • Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years in planning (financial, demand, supply, or merchandising) within a mid‑size org.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI is required; experience with additional tools or programming (e.g., SQL, macros) is a plus
  • Presentation Skills: Proven ability to convey ideas effectively in a structured and professional manner, including creating clear and compelling documents
  • Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, with the ability to leverage experience and knowledge to create effective split solutions
  • Mindset: Strong team player with a positive, solution‑oriented approach
