Responsibilities

• Prepare avionics ground and flight test activities on aircraft, including development of flight test programs.
• Execute on‑aircraft ground tests and participate in real‑time monitoring of test data systems during flight tests.
• Analyze test data and document results, deviations, and findings.
• Develop analysis routines/software or define requirements for analysis software related to test data evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with design, development, and testing teams within Airbus Defence and Space and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering.
• Brings 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in engineering or testing activities.
• Has knowledge of fighter avionics systems.
• Is familiar with test support systems tracing tools and high level programming languages such as MaTE, OCTANE, DOORS, JIRA, C, C++ and Python.
• Has proficient German and fluent English language skills.
• Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills, a problem solving mindset and a proactive open minded personality.

This position is based in Manching, Germany.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain Ü2 security clearance.
