Zusammenfassung

PUMA SE is seeking a Junior Manager, Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights for our DTC channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical frameworks, reports, and data products tailored to retail and ecommerce, aligning with DTC strategy.

You will apply statistical methods, data visualization, and BI tools to deliver timely insights that drive retail performance and operational efficiency. A growth mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Business Analytics. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data analysis or analytics role, preferably with exposure to retail, E-Commerce, or DTC business models.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to support data-informed decisions in a retail context.
  • Familiarity with retail industry trends, customer behavior, and DTC challenges is a strong plus.

YOUR MISSION

As a Junior Manager, Data Analyst. part of the DTC Tech Data & Analytics Platforms team, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights and scalable solutions that drive performance for our direct-to-consumer channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical frameworks, reports, and data products tailored to retail and ecommerce, ensuring alignment with the organization’s DTC strategy. Your work will help foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation in the retail space.

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Retail Data Analysis & Insights Delivery Design, develop, and maintain analytical models, reports, and dashboards to address key retail business questions (e.g., sales performance, inventory optimization).
  • Collaborate with data engineers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in the retail customer journey, marketing, and operations.
  • Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support retail strategy, tactical decision-making, and operational efficiency.
Technical Leadership & Best Practices

Apply best practices in retail data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization to ensure clear, reproducible, and impactful outputs for DTC channels. Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in retail analytics, BI, and ecommerce, and share relevant insights within the Tech DTC team. Contribute to the development of internal documentation, standards, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to uplift the team’s retail analytics capabilities.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., retail, marketing, product, engineering) to understand data needs, challenges, and opportunities specific to DTC channels. Translate retail-focused analytical findings into clear, accessible narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support the presentation of insights, recommendations, and data stories to drive understanding and action across retail and Tech DTC teams.

Project & Initiative Support

Assist in the prioritization and execution of retail data analysis initiatives, ensuring alignment with DTC business objectives and resource allocation. Contribute to the development of the Tech DTC team’s roadmap and strategic vision, providing input on project feasibility, timelines, and potential impact on retail performance.

YOUR TALENT
Technical Expertise

Foundational knowledge of retail data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI platforms (Power BI, Looker). Familiarity with Python or R is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms is beneficial.

Collaboration & Communication

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across retail, tech, and business teams. Ability to translate retail business challenges into analytical opportunities and deliver outcomes aligned with DTC goals. Developing storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inform diverse audiences about retail insights.

Problem-Solving & Innovation

Ability to develop practical, data-driven solutions that address retail and DTC-specific problems (e.g., demand forecasting, customer segmentation, pricing optimization). Track record of contributing to projects with measurable outcomes in a retail or ecommerce context. Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the fast-paced DTC environment.
