The role focuses on analyses to improve profitability, explaining variances between planned and actual figures, and preparing planning materials for management.

The position requires a degree in Business Administration with a Controlling focus, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling.
• Internships or working student experience is advantageous.
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with modern ERP systems (QAD, SAP).
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management is an advantage.
• Very good English & German language skills, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Take over day-to-day Controlling activities for the production sites Lindau and France.
• Analysis of cost developments and variances in collaboration with the relevant departments.
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Participation in budget planning and forecast preparation.
• Maintenance and further development of controlling tools and databases.
• Execution of target–actual comparisons and derivation of action recommendations.
• Support with ad‑hoc analyses and projects in the area of cost optimization.
• Preparation of presentations and decision‑making documents for management.

Reporting to the Site Controller, the Junior Cost Controller supports daily activities in the areas of Controlling & Reporting, Financial Planning, and Cost Accounting for the production sites in Lindau and France. The role focuses on assisting with analyses to improve profitability, explaining variances between planned and actual figures, and supporting the planning processes for both sites. Additionally, the position involves preparing decision‑making materials for management.

Responsibilities

• Take over day-to-day Controlling activities for the production sites Lindau and France
• Analysis of cost developments and variances in collaboration with the relevant departments
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Participation in budget planning and forecast preparation
• Maintenance and further development of controlling tools and databases

Qualifications

Education and Training

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, or a comparable qualification.

Experience
