Become part of our international success story. Within the Finance team you will play a key role for the financial activities of our German Headoffice. As a Junior Controller (m/f/d), you will actively support the preparation of monthly financial statements (IFRS) for the group reporting, budget and forecasts, and support various department managers in the decision‑making process.

This is a full‑time position located in our office in Cologne.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements according to IFRS
• Ensure cost control, provide actual vs. forecast analysis and relevant reports to individual departments
• Support the coordination and preparation of budget and forecasts
• Further develop and automate reports for our business partners
• Follow our RIMOWA internal control standards by assisting in the testing of our processes. Together with the team, you will optimise existing processes to ensure compliance
• Conduct day‑to‑day operations as well as ad‑hoc analysis and statistics.

Profile

• A university degree in business administration with a focus on finance, controlling, or accounting
• Strong analytical skills and a reliable work ethic
• Autonomous and proactive working style
• A collaborative team player who likes to work in a dynamic, international environment
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with international stakeholders
• First experience in SAP is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential
• Fluency in German and English
