As a Junior Consultant Data Management & ERP Data Migration, you will learn to analyze, prepare, transform and validate data for ERP migrations and take on responsibility for migration objects like customers, suppliers, or financial data as you gain experience.

Qualifikationen

• Degree, vocational training or initial practical experience related to business, IT, data or processes.
• Enjoy analyzing, structuring and preparing data carefully.
• Basic understanding of business processes in finance, purchasing, logistics or sales.
• Initial exposure to ERP systems or motivation to learn them.
• Strong Excel skills and willingness to build SQL knowledge.

frankeconsults GmbH is a specialized consultancy for data migration and data validation in ERP environments. We help companies transfer data from existing systems into new ERP systems in a structured, traceable and reliable way - often in SAP environments, but also in Microsoft Dynamics and other ERP systems.

We combine business process understanding with technical implementation: from the first data extract through transformation and validation to a successful go-live.

As a small, specialized consultancy, you will work close to real projects, clients and decisions. You are not just "another resource"; step by step, you become part of our migration approach, our tools and our project work.

Why this role?

At first glance, data migration may sound technical - but above all, it sits at the intersection of data, business processes and ERP systems.

In projects, this includes questions such as:

• Which customer data is really needed in the target system?
• Which information must be maintained cleanly for suppliers, materials or financial data?
• How must data be structured so later processes such as billing, purchasing, logistics or reporting work properly?

As a Junior Consultant Data Management & ERP Data Migration, you will learn to understand these questions from a business perspective and implement them technically.

Your role

In this role, you will work on the analysis, preparation, transformation and validation of data for ERP migration projects.

You will receive structured onboarding and, as your experience grows, gradually take on responsibility for individual migration objects, such as customers, suppliers, materials or financial data.

This is not a pure programming job. Technical tools are important, but it is just as important that you understand business processes, think carefully about data and recognize relationships between topics.

You will support our team with:

• analyzing data structures in source and target systems
• aligning business requirements with clients and specialist departments
• preparing, transforming and validating data
• developing migration logic, often with SQL, Excel and PowerQuery
• loading transformed data into target systems, usually SAP, but also other ERP systems
• documenting rules, assumptions and results
• further developing our internal tool set
• gradually building ownership for individual migration objects

You are a good fit for us if you:

• have a degree, vocational training or initial practical experience related to business, IT, data or processes
• enjoy analyzing, structuring and preparing data carefully
• have a basic understanding of business processes, for example in finance, purchasing, logistics or sales
• have had initial exposure to ERP systems or are motivated to learn them
• work confidently and carefully with Excel
• bring initial SQL knowledge or are willing to build it further
• think analytically and genuinely want to understand things
• enjoy working in a team and communicating openly with clients

Nice to have

• initial experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or another ERP system
• knowledge of PowerQuery
• experience with PowerShell 7
• basic knowledge of Git and GitHub
• initial project or consulting experience
