Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (the "Bank") is seeking to strengthen its European and German Compliance team in Frankfurt am Main with a Junior Compliance Officer (m/f/d).

The Bank operates across Europe, with branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK.

Your role

• Assist in monitoring and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and support the implementation and maintenance of the bank's compliance programme.
• Conduct regular thematic controls especially in the areas of investor protection, market abuse and banking law.
• Provide oversight on the six foreign branches of the bank which considers all areas of activities of the compliance department.
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
• Participate in compliance training sessions for staff.
• Provide support with internal and external audits.

Your profile

• Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Possess initial experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar area, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills, and a high level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in both German and English at the highest level of business proficiency is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is considered an advantage.
