Job summary

Huawei Europe in Düsseldorf invites applications for a Junior Commercial and Contract Manager (m/f/d) as part of our Fresh Graduate Program. You will support commercial and contract risk management, contract preparation, tender support and administration under guidance.

We seek recent graduates in Business, Commerce, International Trade or Law with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, and fluent German and English (C1–C2).

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, International Trade or Law.
• Basic understanding of contract principles, contractual terms and conditions, and commercial risk assessment.
• Strong analytical skills and high levels of accuracy, with the ability to identify potential risks, and support the evaluation of contractual and business opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support identification and assessment of commercial, legal, delivery, and penalty risks during pre-sales and project execution.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing sales contracts, commercial proposals, and tender documentation.
• Support standard and complex contract negotiations and management of amendments and changes.
• Help ensure contract quality and compliance with internal policies and laws, identify optimization opportunities.
• Support sales and product teams in identifying market opportunities and developing commercial models.

Job Title: Junior Commercial and Contract Manager (m/f/d) – Graduate Program

Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

Main Responsibilities:

• Commercial and Contractual Risk Management: Support the identification and assessment of commercial, legal, delivery, and penalty risks during the pre-sales and project execution phases, including monitoring contractual obligations and potential exposures.

• Contract Preparation and Tender Support: Assist in preparing and reviewing sales contracts, commercial proposals, and tender (RFX) documentation, ensuring alignment with commercial requirements and internal guidelines.

• Contract Negotiation and Administration: Support standard and complex contract negotiations, as well as the preparation and management of contract amendments, addenda, and other contractual changes, under the guidance of senior colleagues.

• Contract Compliance and Optimization: Help ensure contract quality and compliance with contractual obligations, internal policies, and applicable laws and regulations, while identifying opportunities to improve existing contracts and processes.

• Commercial Strategy and Business Support: Support sales and product teams in identifying market opportunities and developing appropriate commercial and contractual models to support business objectives.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate with bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, International Trade or Law

• Basic understanding of contract principles, contractual terms and conditions, and commercial risk assessment

• Strong analytical skills and high levels of accuracy, with the ability to identify potential risks, and support the evaluation of contractual and business opportunities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Language requirements:

• Fluent in German and English skills (C1 – C2 mandatory)
